(Baonghean.vn) - The sunflower field in Nghia Lam commune, Nghia Dan district has begun to show off its most brilliant flowers. The attraction of this flower symbolizing faith and hope is even more evident during the weekend, with a large number of tourists visiting the flower field.

However, unlike the image of jostling and traffic jams of the previous flower season, this year, for the first time the Sunflower Festival was held, security and order were focused on and ensured.

Despite the dense fog in the early winter morning, it was not yet 6am, but the atmosphere in the flower field was very bustling. Cars lined up one after another to rush to the flower field. Food and beverage stalls were ready to serve tourists. The loud car horns, the cheerful laughter, the amazed admiration of groups of people who were seeing the beauty of this flower for the first time created a bustling atmosphere that Nghia Dan had not seen for a long time.

Unlike previous years, this year, the district police and local authorities have proactively planned to handle situations to ensure security and order here, so traffic jams, images of competition and solicitation for services to serve tourists no longer occur.

Comrade Tran Van Thap - Deputy Head of Nghia Dan District Police said: Determining the need to ensure social order for the community, safety of life and property for tourists to enjoy their time, Nghia Dan District Police coordinated with the commune police to proactively plan to be on duty and patrol to ensure security and order. Assign officers to be stationed at traffic points, to direct traffic so that vehicles can circulate safely. Provide a hotline number for people to report negative issues that arise for appropriate and timely handling. Shops are arranged appropriately, there is no longer a scene of soliciting customers, arbitrarily raising prices to oppress tourists.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nam - a tourist in Hanoi shared: "Last year's flower season, I also invited my friends to come here to take pictures, but the organization was not as organized as it is now. This year, security and environmental work are more guaranteed, everyone can freely take pictures and breathe the fresh air here."

Grasping the needs of tourists, from food and drink, props for taking photos are also prepared richly and very diversely. Drink and snack stalls are arranged more orderly and reasonably. Services such as ladder rental, swing rental, horse rental for taking photos are adjusted at appropriate prices. After the time the first flowers bloomed and were destroyed by bad guys, flower protection work is more focused than ever. Up to this point, there is no more situation of picking flowers or destroying flowers.
