Karaoke bar owner fired multiple shots to 'show off' and then turned himself in to the police
The two men had a conflict with the karaoke bar owner, so they rode a motorbike together and brought guns to fire as a "demonstration". Afterwards, both of them went to the police station in Thach That district, Hanoi to surrender and hand over their guns.
On the evening of June 10, the police of Thach That district, Hanoi, said that on June 6, the police received a complaint from Mr. VVM (born in 1998, in Binh Yen commune, Thach That district), about the incident of disturbing public order.
Upon receiving the report, the police conducted an investigation and initially determined that due to a previous conflict, at around 10:00 p.m. on May 30, Nguyen Van Hai (born in 1989) and Nguyen Tien Luat (born in 1991, both from Binh Yen commune) rode a motorbike and brought a homemade alcohol gun to Mr. M's karaoke bar in Ha Bang commune, Thach That district.
Upon arrival, suspect Hai sat on the back of a motorbike and fired one shot that hit the shop's rolling door and penetrated inside, but did not hit anyone. Afterwards, Hai and Luat went to the rented room of Ms. P. (born in 1990, M.'s older sister, in Ha Bang commune).
Here, Hai continued to fire two more shots, then returned to Mr. M's karaoke bar. Seeing Mr. M standing in front of the bar, Hai fired, hitting the iron frame of the rolling door. After this "demonstration", Hai and Luat took the gun home to hide. On June 7, Hai and Luat went to the Thach That District Police to surrender and hand over the gun.
Currently, Thach That District Police are consolidating the case files to verify and investigate the above two subjects for disturbing public order.
