Special talk on “Phan Boi Chau with the Dong Du movement and Vietnam – Japan relations”
(Baonghean.vn) -On the occasion of the 145th anniversary of the birth of the great patriot and cultural figure Phan Boi Chau (1867 - 2012), this morning, June 14, the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association in coordination with the Provincial Library organized a talk on "Phan Boi Chau with the Dong Du movement and Vietnam - Japan relations".
Attending the event were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nghe An Union of Friendship Organizations, lecturers and students of Vinh University and the Provincial College of Culture and Arts.
The talk was presented by Professor Chuong Thau - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Historical Association, editor of the book series "Phan Boi Chau Complete Works", with the main contents: Origin and activities of the Dong Du movement; The role of Phan Boi Chau in the Dong Du movement; The influence of the Dong Du movement on the Vietnamese revolutionary patriotic movement; The friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan in the past and present...
This is an opportunity for researchers, lecturers, especially young people to understand more deeply about the life and career of Phan Boi Chau, especially the revolutionary path that Mr. Phan chose and the great influence of the Dong Du movement at that time on the Vietnamese revolution./.
