Where creativity is inspired
(Baonghean) - In 2002, the Women's Club with Literature and Arts was born, truly becoming a common home, inspiring creativity for many female members... The awards that the Club members have reaped in recent times can be considered the first sweet fruits of the season...
In March 2002, the Women's Literature and Arts Club was established, gathering members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and those who love literature and arts. The early days of establishment encountered many difficulties: No operating funds, being a new model, there was confusion in the direction of activities, the club's executive board held concurrent positions...
Above all, with a love for literature and art, with the desire to create a place for art creators to meet, exchange and share, the Club has organized many exciting and useful activities: Organizing seminars, "poetry-music-painting" exchanges, writing skills training sessions, seminars on the topics "Towards Truong Bon", "Homeland's sea and islands"; exchanges with poets and writers with a lot of experience in writing... The Club also organizes field trips and field trips for women to have the opportunity to experience life, inspiring creativity for members. "Artistic creativity is a special activity, and for women it is a great effort. Taking care of family matters, the pressures of life sometimes dry up creative inspiration. The Club is the place to "keep the fire" of passion, to rekindle women's love of literature and art..." - Writer Nguyen Thi Phuoc, head of the Club shared.

While reading culture has to compete fiercely with other media, it is not easy for the works of female members to reach the public. Through exchanges, discussions, and introductions of works in magazines, newspapers, etc., the Club has become a "bridge" between authors and the public who love literature and art. Experienced and prestigious writers and poets in the literary world such as Nguyen Thi Phuoc, Van Anh, Cam Thach, Dam Quynh Ngoc... have become "midwives" for young writers, helping them become more confident, more stable and gradually affirm their position in the hearts of the public. Many young authors such as Pham Mai Chien, Van Khanh, Mai Lieu, Thuy Ha... have now become writers who are welcomed by readers.
The club members come from many different locations, each with their own circumstances, many of them have quite difficult lives, struggling, having to work many jobs to make a living. But when it comes to club activities, they still attend in full, meet, chat, share their passion, their creative inspiration is still strong and burning... The club has become a spiritual support for them to overcome the hustle and bustle of life, to gather love to produce sweet fruits...
Over the past 5 years, 20 members of the Club have won many awards in the field of literature and art at the central and local levels, such as: writer Nguyen Thi Phuoc with the short story collection "Cho dong thom gio" (won the Cup of the Vietnam Writers Association and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for writing about the topic of "three farmers"), poet Van Anh, writer Dam Quynh Ngoc... The valuable thing is that the Club has attracted many members who are "outsiders", young people in universities and colleges, thereby nurturing their love of poetry and literature, enriching their emotional life, guiding them to the values of "Truth-Goodness-Beauty"...
"In the coming time, the club will coordinate with art troupes, cultural centers of districts, and provincial libraries to expand the scope of activities, bring members' compositions closer to the public; launch individual poetry collections of club members; find "stages" for members to express their writings; and direct their compositions towards the values of life" - writer Nguyen Thi Phuoc said.
