This is also the end of the school year, ending 9 months of exciting study with many outstanding emulation movements of the school such as "good teaching - good learning", "Building a friendly school, active students" and the campaign "Each teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity"... The results achieved show the efforts of the school's teachers who are always devoted to the students, overcoming difficulties to build the school into a reliable educational address.

Hanh Lam Secondary School, formerly Thanh My Agricultural High School, was established in 1959. In the 1968-1969 school year, the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district decided to establish Hanh Lam Farm Primary and Secondary School to teach from grade 1 to grade 5 (students in grades 6 and 7 had to go to Thanh Duc Secondary School to study). One year later, after the new commune of Hanh Lam was established, Hanh Lam Secondary School was officially named after merging old schools...

Over 56 years of construction and development, generations of teachers and students have grown up from this school. Many of them have become high-ranking officials in Party and State agencies, scientists, successful businessmen, and useful citizens who have actively contributed to the cause of building their homeland and country. In particular, promoting the tradition of a revolutionary and scholarly homeland, the people of Hanh Lam continue to maintain the movement of studiousness, establishing learning promotion associations in the commune, hamlets, and clans. Over the years, the Party Committee and local authorities have paid great attention to education and have issued many directives and resolutions to build and develop a healthy educational environment. The commune education council maintains regular annual activities with practical content; in each hamlet, there is a village education subcommittee. The coordination of student education between the school, family, and other mass organizations such as the parents' association, youth union, commune security committee, etc. has been well implemented. In building facilities, the parents' association proactively mobilizes parents to actively contribute money to build schools and participate in monitoring and promoting investment efficiency.

The newly built and spacious school is the result of support from all levels, sectors, businesses and the active support of the people and local authorities. The school campus is nearly 10,000m2 wide, formerly a low-lying area. To ensure the area meets the standards, the commune government mobilized parents to level the ground; launched a tree planting campaign at the beginning of the year. The school currently has 9 solid high-rise classrooms, fully equipped with functional rooms such as a library, reading room, physics - technology, chemistry - biology practice room, computer room with 20 computers connected to the Internet, rooms for organizations, traditional rooms... with full facilities for teaching and learning. The playground system, practice ground is over 4,500m2, fully equipped with soccer, badminton, shuttlecock, volleyball courts, serving the sports training and entertainment of staff, teachers and students. Basic sanitation and water systems are guaranteed to meet the living needs of teachers and students.

The upgraded facilities are also the basis and favorable conditions for the school to gradually improve the quality of teaching and learning. The work of innovating teaching methods to improve the quality of teaching and learning hours has been given great attention and effectively implemented by the school. Applying knowledge of innovative teaching methods, the school has directed groups and teachers to innovate the form of organizing classes, introducing group discussion activities, visual observations, models, and drawings under the guidance of teachers so that students can draw their own conclusions based on positive thinking.

The school also actively directs monthly review and classification of students to nurture good and weak students, on that basis, limit students sitting in the wrong class, and at the same time increase the rate of good and excellent. Therefore, for many years now, the comprehensive education quality of the school has maintained the good top of the district. Continuously in recent years, the school has been recognized as an advanced unit at the district level. Trade union organizations, youth union, and team... have all achieved strong and excellent strength. In the development process, the school has built a team of cadres and teachers with good moral qualities, good and excellent professional qualifications, and dedicated to their work. 100% of cadres and teachers meet and exceed standards, of which more than 90% are above standards, there is 1 person who has achieved provincial-level excellent cadre, nearly 80% of teachers have been recognized as excellent teachers at the district level. In the past 10 years, the school has had more than 30 teachers and staff achieve the title of basic emulation soldier.

In addition, being recognized as a national standard school once again acknowledges the school's efforts to improve, affirming the quality of teaching and learning. In the coming time, to continue to maintain and gradually improve the standards of a national standard school, the school will continue to approach and train the teaching staff to improve their capacity and professional qualifications, especially innovating teaching methods to improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching hours; teachers must gradually become proficient in preparing and teaching with the application of information technology. In addition, we will coordinate with local authorities, departments, unions, and parents' associations to promote the socialization of education, building a healthy educational environment in the area”.
