Ukraine's internal affairs: Poroshenko 'hotly advised' Zelensky before taking the presidential chair
Outgoing President Petro Poroshenko advised his successor, Vladimir Zelensky, to "just follow the Poroshenko line" - that is, continue the course of the current cabinet.

This was discussed at a press conference on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership program, held in Brussels. The moderator of the session asked the current Ukrainian leader what advice he could give to the person elected to the post of head of state.
“Just follow Poroshenko's path, and that will be enough,” the incumbent president said to applause from the audience.
Poroshenko also said he was ready to help Zelensky, provided he continued the country's path towards integration into the EU and NATO.
