The use of LTE technology allows data users in Vietnam to access mobile internet at speeds much higher than 3G.

Today, LTE technology is provided by Nokia to about half of the telecommunications service providers that have adopted LTE commercially, including high-speed mobile markets such as Northern Europe, Korea and Japan.

In Vietnam, Nokia representative said that the time has come to put this technology into use when the number of data subscribers has increased dramatically in recent times. LTE is a wireless method that provides data services to users in a cheaper, faster and higher quality way than 2G or 3G. Network operators in Vietnam also have many favorable conditions to deploy this technology and the next year is a very suitable time.

According to Claudio Franscoli, Head of Strategic Marketing at Nokia Networks, there are many LTE providers in the world. Nokia's advantage lies in its one hundred years of experience in developing this field. Nokia is currently the largest foreign LTE technology provider in Korea - the leading market for LTE services.

LTE promises to be one of the most important new mobile technology applications since the launch of GSM networks. With the ability to deliver high-speed mobile Internet, bridging the gap between revenue growth and traffic, LTE is being deployed by more than 100 network operators worldwide.
