Farmers again put up banners demanding debt for tra fish
On December 24, early in the morning, about 40 people came to Song Hau Food Processing Joint Stock Company (Sohafood), holding banners demanding debt for tra fish.
According to creditors, since November 23, when he took back the position of Sohafood Director from Ms. Tran Ngoc Suong, Mr. Nguyen Tan Thanh has not paid his debt as promised. Those who owe a lot of money, Mr. Le Huy Ha in Dong Thap province owes 7 billion VND, Mr. Huynh Quang Khap in An Giang province owes 6 billion VND, Mr. Cao Huu Sang in Can Tho city owes 2.4 billion VND, said that Sohafood has no good will to pay the debt. Mr. Sang said that Mr. Thanh has repeatedly "wandered around" explaining that the bank did not disburse to pay the debt.
