During the Lunar New Year, farmers in many places in Nghe An such as Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong... often slaughter pigs together, sharing meat for Tet. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong in Dong Ban hamlet, Lang Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) said that this Tet, 4 brothers in the family slaughtered a pig weighing more than 40 kg, for 3.2 million VND. To ensure hygiene, before slaughtering, they washed the pig clean with water.
