On July 16, People's Artist Thu Hien said she was very surprised to learn that she would be singing a duet with People's Artist Trung Duc on the song "Vam Co Dong" in the music night "Mot thoi de nho 2", because she had not yet signed an official singing contract.

The incident began about a week earlier when Dong Do Culture and Arts Introduction Joint Stock Company sent a press release to several newspapers with the content of organizing the music night "A Time to Remember 2" on the evening of July 26 at the Hanoi Opera House.

“About a month ago, People's Artist Tran Binh called me and invited me to sing in this program, but since then I have not contacted him again and up to this point I have not worked with the Organizing Committee, nor signed any contract,” said People's Artist Thu Hien.

When presented with some information in the press release about the performances of “A Time to Remember 2”, People’s Artist Thu Hien shared: “Because the contract has not been signed and the work has not been done, there is no information about the performance. If the request is to sing “Loi Nguoi Ra Di” and “Nguoi Di Dao Ho Ke Go”, I will sing, but “Vam Co Dong” is too long ago so I do not want to sing it again”.

Afterwards, People's Artist Thu Hien herself asked the reporter about the unit and time of the program because she did not know clearly.

Talking to reporters, People's Artist Tran Binh - Director of the Central Light Music and Dance Theater, General Director of the music night program "A Time to Remember" said: "A Time to Remember" is a program organized by the Theater and this is the second music night, previously the theater successfully organized "A Time to Remember 1".

However, in order to avoid having to sell tickets individually, the theater sold all tickets to Dong Do Culture and Arts Introduction Joint Stock Company at a certain price. However, the content of the concert and which songs the artists will sing were not disclosed to Dong Do Culture and Arts Introduction Joint Stock Company.

According to People's Artist Tran Binh, in the past few days, Dong Do Culture and Arts Introduction Joint Stock Company has been "a bit too much", hanging banners and advertising loudly but incorrectly, which is a taboo.

Regarding the invitation of People's Artist Thu Hien, People's Artist Tran Binh confirmed that he was the one who invited People's Artist Thu Hien. Currently, the Organizing Committee is discussing with the two artists People's Artist Thu Hien and People's Artist Trung Duc which song to sing.
