Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac: We hugged each other and cried after Tao Quan

With the 2016 Tao Quan program, Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac has spent more than a decade playing the role of Nam Tao and this – as Xuan Bac confessed, is a special role in his acting career.

Sharing during the recording session for the Morning Coffee program, a special episode that will air on Ong Cong Ong Tao Day this year, Xuan Bac said that he was proud to participate in Tao Quan even though there were times when the program made him and the crew "really tired".

“As you know, each profession has its own characteristics and peculiarities, and with Tao Quan, there were times when we were really tired while working and practicing… There were times after filming, we hugged each other and cried” – Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac said – “But those were tears of happiness. We cried because we were happy when we received applause from the audience”.

Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac also added that with the Tao Quan program, interaction with the audience plays an extremely important role in the success of the program. If the audience has positive reactions, that reaction is a catalyst, like a spiritual medicine that makes the actors more excited and more creative when performing.

Currently, the Tao Quan 2016 crew is working on the script for this year's show. The actors started practicing last week.
