Female director attacked by masked man with "paint bomb"

Authorities are investigating the case of a female business director being attacked by a stranger with a "paint bomb".

Ms. Vu Thi Phuong Chi (born in 1976, temporarily residing at 64 Tan Trao, Vinh Nguyen ward, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa) has just submitted a petition requesting the police to investigate the horrific "paint bomb" attack.

Chi's whole body was covered in paint after a stranger threw a bucket of paint at her.

According to Ms. Chi's complaint, at around 6:00 p.m. on July 5, she and her company employees were working when suddenly a male subject, in his 20s, wearing worker's clothes, a helmet, his face covered, carrying a plastic bucket filled with paint, aggressively stormed into her house.

Before she could understand what was happening, the male suspect swung his arm and threw the bucket of paint straight at her face. Chi's entire body was covered in paint, from head to toe. Her son, who was standing next to her at the time, also had paint splashed on his head.

After the attack, the male suspect quickly ran away. Looking outside, another suspect was waiting on a motorbike without a license plate and sped away.

"The incident caused me, the company's employees, and my family members to be mentally shocked," Ms. Chi said in shock.

According to the victim, after the horrific attack, she suffered burns all over her body. To remove the paint, she used gasoline to bathe and washed her hair many times to clean it off.

Even though many days have passed, her skin continues to peel due to the effects of oil paint and gasoline.

According to the victim, through images extracted from the camera along with other clues, the family suspects that the "paint bomb" attacker is likely residing in Nha Trang City.

It is known that Ms. Chi is currently the CEO of a company located in Nha Trang City.

The case is currently being verified and clarified by Nha Trang City Police.
