According to a Nghe An worker in Moscow (Russian Federation) reported, on the afternoon of July 3, Ms. Mai was working in a vegetable field on the outskirts of Moscow when a thunderstorm hit and lightning struck Ms. Mai, killing her.

It is known that Ms. Mai's situation is very difficult, her father is often sick, her mother is mute from birth. In 1996, Ms. Mai got married, had 2 children, after her husband passed away, Ms. Mai borrowed money to go to Russia to work in the hope of having money to raise her children and help her family.

Currently, the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation is calling on everyone to join hands in donating and helping to soon bring Ms. Mai's body back to her homeland for burial.
