Referring to her career, Harris talked about her determination to become a prosecutor, focusing on addressing injustice. And this is also the message and guideline for Harris to approach the problems, at a time when the country is trying to find a way out of the Covid-19 pandemic, and revive the collapsing economy. In addition, racism is deeply ingrained in American culture, which is also a painful problem. In every step of her prosecutorial career, Harris said, she always reminded herself of her own oath: "Kamala Harris, for the people".
Regarding the fight against Covid-19 - the issue that Americans are most concerned about today, Harris said that this epidemic has exposed inequality in society. Accordingly, people of color, Latinos and indigenous people are suffering and dying unfairly. However, this is not a coincidence, but the consequence of racism that has been rooted in the roots: inequality in education, health care, job security, excessive use of force by the police...
“This virus has no eyes, but it knows exactly how we see each other and how we treat each other,” Harris asserted, arguing that there is no “cure” for racism, but instead, everyone must work hard to fulfill the promise of justice and equality under the law.

Harris has long argued that Trump’s strategy has left the country deeply divided. During Trump’s presidency, Harris said, many Americans felt lost in “constant chaos.” Responding to those concerns, Harris urged voters to elect Joe Biden as president — a candidate she said would heal the rift and bring people closer together. The California senator argued that Trump turned tragedy into a political weapon, while Biden and she would make the community a place of love, where “all are welcome.”
Harris, 55, has served as a prosecutor in San Francisco and a federal prosecutor in California. While on the Senate Judiciary Committee, she was praised by the Los Angeles Times as a person who can withstand great pressure and become one of the sharpest interrogators.
