(Baonghean) - Born in 1981, before becoming a statistical officer of the Organizing Committee (Provincial Military Command), Hoang Van Anh had 3 months of "rookie" training, also "rolling, crawling, crawling", participating in many nighttime field trips, performing political tests, etiquette tests, AK shooting... at Training Regiment 764; 3 years as a secretarial officer at the Provincial Military Command (during this time Van Anh was honored to join the Party - 2004).

Although at each stage, the requirements of the soldier's mission are different, but in general, according to Van Anh, "those days have trained me in political mettle, the will to rise up, especially the virtues of meticulousness, carefulness, and responsibility when doing anything". That is also the motto of female soldier Hoang Van Anh in life and work.

Lieutenant Hoang Thi Van Anh.

In December 2007, Hoang Van Anh was transferred to the Organization Department - Political Department of the Provincial Military Command. The work that Van Anh undertakes here is party member work with many tasks, including managing the party member database, making party badges, party cards, transferring party activities, synthesizing party member admission application files; official party transfer, collecting and spending party fees, statistical reports... This work, although not hard or difficult, requires meticulousness, carefulness, professionalism and especially a very high sense of responsibility to avoid mistakes.

At first, she was very worried and anxious: Will I be able to complete the task well? Then those were just fleeting thoughts, she started to work and supplement her knowledge and experience by reading and researching documents; reading articles discussing party member work in some newspapers and magazines; mastering the principles, regulations, instructions and guidance of superiors, including exchanging and learning from colleagues. Talking about her achievements, it was nearly 6 years in charge of party member work and statistical reporting work of the Organizing Committee but there has not been any omission or incorrect data, while the data, reports and forms prescribed in the army are quite complicated.

Not only responsible in her professional work, Hoang Van Anh is also an example of exemplary military manners. Unlike many people who often find excuses to be late or leave early, although in the beginning her husband worked far away, she had two small children, and both paternal and maternal families lived far away, she was never late, but often arrived before the scheduled time. If the work at the unit was not finished, she would bring it home while her two children were asleep to do it, sometimes even on Saturdays and Sundays at the unit.

Hoang Van Anh recalls a memory a few years ago when a storm hit Nghe An, the head of the provincial Military Command ordered the unit to be on duty 100% of the troops, she did not explain her situation to the head to be able to return home but voluntarily followed the order. There were only 3 of them in the house, mother and children, that day she picked up 2 children from kindergarten straight to the unit, and so all 3 of them were on duty during the storm.

In addition to striving to overcome circumstances to complete the unit's professional tasks and fulfill the role of a woman in the family, she is also the "leader" in the women's movements of the Provincial Military Command in her position as the President of the Women's Union, contributing to the deeper and more effective development of the Provincial Military Command's women's movement. The Provincial Military Command's Women's Union was evaluated and ranked excellent by the superior association. Van Anh personally continuously achieved the title of Advanced Soldier; in 2012, she was honored as an Emulation Soldier by the Provincial Military Command; and she was especially honored to participate in the ceremony to commend typical examples of studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh at the national level in Hanoi last May.
