Surpassing 30 finalists, Dang Thi Thu Hong (student of Da Nang College of Commerce) won the highest position in the final round of Charming Vietnamese Female Student 2016 on the evening of December 10 at Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City.

Contestant Ngo Thi Mai Phuong, a student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, won the first runner-up prize. The second runner-up prize went to Ton Hong Hoa, a student at the University of Culture, Ho Chi Minh City.
In the final night, 30 contestants competed in ao dai with the collection Nang Thuy Tinh by designer Ngo Nhat Huy, and evening gown with the collection by designer Vincent Doan. After that, the judges announced the top 5 contestants to participate in the behavioral competition.
Dang Thi Thu Hong was born in 1997, 1m66 tall, weighs 52 kg. Answering the question of judge actor Chi Bao: "If you could change anything in the past, what would you change? Why?", a little confused at first, Thu Hong answered: "My perspective on life is to look towards the future. I want to change the present and the future to make my life better and more useful."
In addition to the main prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded subsidiary prizes to the most voted female student: Le Thuy Vy, Da Nang University of Education, friendly female student: Ngo Thi Mai Phuong, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, talented female student: Hoang Hau Phuong Dong, University of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, female student wearing the most beautiful ao dai: Ta Huyen My, Foreign Trade University, Hanoi, female student with the best English speaking ability: Nguyen Phuong Hoa, University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City.
