8th grade female student "disappears" after phone call in Nghe An

Ms. Le Thi Luu (born in 1986), residing in Khe Moi village, Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district (Nghe An) said: Her daughter, Le Thi Yen, left on the evening of December 15 and has not returned home yet. Contacting her by phone or Facebook has been unsuccessful.

According to the family, female student Le Thi Yen (born in 2005) is currently an 8th grade student at Luc Da Secondary School. On the evening of December 15, 2018, Yen was at home when someone called her. Yen answered and then left the house. "I thought she was just going out somewhere so I didn't ask. After that, I called and texted her on Facebook but couldn't get in touch with her" - Ms. Le Thi Luu added.

It is known that Yen used to visit and stay with her younger sibling for 3-4 days in Met village, Luc Da commune, about 6 km from home, so her family did not look for her. After a long time without her daughter returning, it was not until the evening of December 21 that Ms. Le Thi Luu reported to the village police. At this time, the Luc Da commune police department received the information.

Some people in Luc Da commune said that on the evening of December 15, they saw Yen sitting behind a tall young man on a motorbike but could not see his face clearly.
