This woman also admitted that she did not drive on the right side of the road and did not pay attention when reversing.
On the afternoon of March 17, the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police invited the woman who drove the car with license plate 30A-113.29 in the middle of Cot Bridge (Hanoi) to the headquarters for questioning.
Here, she gave her name as Trinh Thi Tuyet (55 years old), permanent residence in Vinh Phuc Ward, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. She also admitted that she did not drive on the right side of the road and did not pay attention when reversing. Previously, on March 16, social media users posted a video recording a female driver driving a Toyota Altis turning the car around in the middle of Cot Bridge, through Lang Thuong Ward (Dong Da, Hanoi).
At that time, because the bridge was congested, when the female driver reversed the car, she lightly touched the motorbike behind her, causing the motorcyclist to hit the back of the car to warn her.
When the car turned around and blocked the bridge, the female driver opened the door, got out of the car, pointed at the motorcyclist and said "if you want to turn around, just turn around". After a few minutes, because the bridge was congested, the female driver got back in the car and drove straight away. That afternoon, the leader of Lang Thuong Ward Police (Dong Da) said that the unit would verify and find the female driver to strictly handle according to regulations.
Regarding this incident, a representative of the National Traffic Safety Committee said that this was an act showing contempt for the law. This agency requested the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police to direct forces to inspect and verify the above reflection content, and strictly handle it according to the law.
