Samurai soft drink recalled for lack of micronutrients

For the above two violations, the company was fined nearly 434 million VND. Coca Cola must report the results of the recall of violating products to the Ministry of Health immediately after completing the correction.

Mr. Nguyen Khoa My, Director of Communications and External Relations of Coca Cola Vietnam Company, said that Samurai products have been recalled and processed according to regulations. According to Mr. My, the lower than announced content of vitamin B9 in the product does not affect the health and safety of users because this vitamin can be easily found in many other foods such as green vegetables, oranges, beans, etc. Vitamin B9 is considered a muscle-building ingredient that helps grow and maintain muscle tissue and the cardiovascular system to function normally.

Previously, the Ministry of Health inspectors began a comprehensive inspection of Coca Cola Company from June 21.
