The Institute of Physics operates on a non-profit basis.

Speaking with reporters, Dr. Doan Ha Thang affirmed that his research on reading pens was funded by the State. If widely implemented, he would transfer the technology to manufacturing facilities without charging royalties. This differs from many foreign companies that produce reading pens.
