Car crashes head-on with motorbike, one person in critical condition

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 4:00 p.m. on July 28, on National Highway 46 in Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City, a traffic accident occurred between a car and a motorbike, sending one person to the hospital in critical condition.

Many witnesses to the accident said that at that time, the car with license plate 37A-151.22 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling on National Highway 46 in the direction of Vinh City - Cua Lo.

The scene of the accident left one person in critical condition.

When reaching Hamlet 3, Nghi Phu Commune (Vinh City), the car suddenly crossed into the left lane, crashing head-on into a motorbike with license plate 37H1-2165 driven by Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh (born in 1975, residing in Nghi Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town) going in the opposite direction.

The impact was so strong that the motorcyclist was thrown onto the hood and fell to the ground. The motorbike was pushed back by the car about 15 meters from the original collision point.

Immediately afterwards, the car driver and local people took Ms. Binh, who was seriously injured and in critical condition, to Nghe An General Hospital 115 for emergency treatment.

At the scene, the car's front end was crushed and lying on the left lane; the motorbike was also badly damaged.

It is known that Ms. Binh, an environmental sanitation worker, was on her way from home to Vinh City to take her shift when she had an accident.

At 5:00 p.m. on July 28, doctors from the emergency department of Nghe An General Hospital 115 treated Ms. Binh in a state of severe multiple head injuries, broken legs, and broken arms.

Traffic accident handling team of Vinh City Police examined the scene and investigated the cause of the accident.
