Car hit motorbike, then climbed the median strip

(Baonghean.vn) - After causing an accident and dragging the motorbike for dozens of meters, the car continued to jump onto the median strip and knocked down a tree before stopping.

The accident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on May 29 on Le Nin Avenue, Vinh City. At that time, the motorbike with license plate 37F7-2104 (driver's identity unknown), was turning around on Le Nin Street when it was hit head-on by a TOYOTA Camry with license plate 37A-17079 traveling at high speed.

According to the scene, the accident occurred right at the U-turn point opposite the Honda Vinh service center. There were many scratches on the road surface stretching dozens of meters from the U-turn point to the motorbike. The car was still partially on the median strip. The front of the car was severely damaged, the windshield on the passenger side had a large crack due to the strong impact. Right next to the rear of the car was a broken tree, falling on the front of the motorbike.

According to people at the scene, the motorcyclist was a man; around 30 years old. After the accident, he was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room by people.

Vinh City Police have blocked off the scene, regulated traffic and determined the cause of the accident.
