Truck "head-on" collision leaves two drivers seriously injured

(Baonghean) –At 2:00 p.m. on December 14, on National Highway 1A, passing through Quynh Thach and Quynh Luu communes, an accident occurred between two trucks, seriously injuring both drivers.

At the above time, while traveling on National Highway 1A km 400 + 300 in the direction of Vinh - Hanoi, a truck carrying acacia wood with license plate 37N - 6725 driven by Hoang Van Thanh, 31 years old, residing in Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district, suddenly collided head-on with a truck carrying corn stone with license plate 37S - 3451 driven by Nguyen Van Khanh, residing in Quynh Xuan commune, Quynh Luu district, traveling in the opposite direction.

The “head-on” was so strong that both cars had their fronts crushed, and both drivers were seriously injured. Meanwhile, all the acacia wood and corn stone from both cars spilled onto the road, causing a traffic jam of more than 3 km that lasted until 4:30 pm before the road returned to normal.







The "confrontation" caused goods to spill onto the street, causing traffic jams.

Immediately after the accident, Quynh Luu district police promptly arrived to regulate, direct traffic, and organize timely rescue to ensure safety on the route and investigate the cause of the accident.
