Not only does this result bring glory to the Fatherland and the Vietnamese education sector, it also shows that the quality of excellent students in Vietnam is increasing day by day.
Sharing with teachers, friends and those who welcomed the delegation at Noi Bai airport, Ngo Phi Long, a student who won the Gold Medal at the 43rd International Physics Olympiad, said: “In previous years, when I saw the results of my seniors, I admired them and hoped that one day I would achieve similar results. But that was just a hope and I never thought it would come true like this. With today's results, I can only say thank you to the teachers who created the conditions to train me and give me the knowledge to participate in the exam.”

Thus, since the beginning of the year, Vietnamese students have participated in 4 international and regional Olympic competitions including: Asian Physics Olympiad, International Biology, Mathematics and Physics Olympiad. Fortunately, all participating students have won medals.
In total, through the Olympic competition, Vietnamese students brought home 4 Gold Medals, 10 Silver Medals and 9 Bronze Medals. According to the assessment of the Ministry of Education and Training, this is the result of the efforts of the students themselves, along with the dedication and enthusiastic teaching of teachers in the process of training and nurturing excellent students.
According to Mr. Nguyen The Khoi, Head of the student delegation participating in the 43rd International Physics Olympiad, the fact that the Ministry of Education and Training organized the national excellent student selection exam earlier than every year also created conditions for the Olympic teams in general and the Physics team in particular to have more time to review and prepare the best conditions for the exam.
Mr. Nguyen The Khoi also added that the students were trained in two sessions, one for the Asian competition and this time they were also trained further, which also helped them improve their knowledge and skills to do better on the test. This year, with more time, the teachers at the Pedagogical School also paid more attention to training the students in experiments, so their experimental skills were also improved.
The results of the student delegations participating in the Olympic competition this year also show that the quality of excellent students in Vietnam is increasing and is consistent across localities. This year, not only the high-quality student training schools in the country have students winning international prizes, but many other localities also have students winning international prizes such as Son La, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, etc.
Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien affirmed that this is a good sign, a very encouraging thing for the training and fostering of excellent students in Vietnam:
According to Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien, the successes of Vietnamese student delegations participating in this year's Olympics also confirm that the innovations in the education development strategy of the entire sector have initially brought about practical results. This is the basis for the Ministry of Education and Training to continue attracting students to study basic science subjects and have policies to support them in developing their talents in this field./.
