Vietnam Olympic team won 7 medals in Chemistry and Biology
On July 18, the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment, Ministry of Education and Training announced that members of the Vietnamese student delegation attending the 43rd International Chemistry Olympiad in Türkiye all won medals.
Of which, two silver medals belonged to Tran Thi Ngoc Quy, grade 12, High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City National University; Pham Dang Huy, grade 11, Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong.
Two bronze medals were won by Pham Minh Duc, grade 12, Hanoi-Amsterdam High School; Vo Duy Viet, grade 12, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Binh Dinh.
Previously, the International Olympic CommitteePhysicsVietnam has also achieved positive results.
At the 2011 International Biology Olympiad held in Taiwan, the Vietnamese delegation won three bronze medals from Nguyen Trung Kien, grade 12, Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted; Truong Thi Phuong Thao, grade 12, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang and Nguyen Thu Trang, grade 11, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Nam Dinh.
Dang Thu Trang, grade 12, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Nam Dinh received a Certificate of Merit.
The Mathematics and Informatics delegations are the last two student delegations to participate in the International Olympiad in the Netherlands (International Mathematics Olympiad) and Thailand (International Informatics Olympiad) at the end of July 2011./.
