Mr. Netanyahu is expected to meet Mr. Trump in Washington early next week.
According to the Axios news portal, the two sides will discuss import tariffs imposed by the US, Iran's nuclear program and the situation in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to arrive in Washington on April 7 to meet with US President Donald Trump, according to sources from the Axios news portal.
Accordingly, the parties will discuss import tariffs imposed by the US, Iran's nuclear program and the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
The trip was originally scheduled for mid-April, Axios said. However, the site's sources said the schedule could change due to upcoming court hearings in Israel related to corruption charges that Prime Minister Netanyahu must attend.
According to the same source, Mr. Netanyahu believes that the possibility of reaching a nuclear deal between the US and Iran is extremely low, and he wants to reach a consensus with Mr. Trump on attacking Iran's nuclear facilities if diplomacy fails.
On April 4, US President Trump announced that Iran's leadership wanted to talk directly with Washington instead of through intermediaries.
Earlier, on March 7, Trump said he had sent a message to Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, offering to hold talks on the nuclear program. Tehran has refused to talk directly with the US but has allowed negotiations to continue through intermediaries.
On March 30, the US president announced that he would impose new tariffs on Iran within two weeks if nuclear talks failed. He also threatened to conduct unprecedented bombing raids on Iran if it completely rejected the deal. In response, Mr. Khamenei said he did not believe the US would intervene militarily, but warned that any attempt by Washington to incite unrest in Iran would be met with a tough response.
