Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh was assigned as Permanent Deputy Prime Minister.

On August 28, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a Decision on assigning tasks to Deputy Prime Ministers. In particular, the Prime Minister assigned Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh as Permanent Deputy Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binhwill monitor and direct the following areas of work: Planning and investment, forecasting and macroeconomic management policies; development of business types, collective economy, and cooperatives.

He is also in charge of the following areas: Crime prevention and control; smuggling and trade fraud prevention and control; corruption prevention and control; inspection and settlement of complaints and denunciations; ethnicity and religion; regular issues of emulation and rewards, administrative reform, and digital transformation.

In addition, he is in charge of the fields of amnesty, judicial reform and coordination between the Government, the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuracy...

He monitors and directs the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Government Inspectorate, the Ethnic Committee, and the Government Office.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh concurrently holds the following positions: Head of the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention and Control; Head of the National Steering Committee against Smuggling, Trade Fraud and Counterfeit Goods; Head of the Central Steering Committee for the Implementation of 3 National Target Programs, New Rural Development for the 2021-2025 period, Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021-2025 period, Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period; Head of the Steering Committee for Innovation and Development of Collective Economy and Cooperatives; Chair of National Councils and Committees, Heads of Steering Committees, Chair of Planning Appraisal Councils in Related Fields.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister shall, on behalf of the Prime Minister, direct the implementation of Government work in the Prime Minister's absence and be authorized by the Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Haassigned to monitor and direct the following areas of work: Transportation; ensuring traffic order and safety; construction; natural resources and environment; climate change; agriculture and rural development, new rural construction; flood and storm prevention, search and rescue; national master planning, regional planning, provincial planning.

At the same time, he is in charge of key national projects, basic construction investment projects under his authority according to assigned fields; economic zones, industrial parks, export processing zones; general mechanisms and policies on bidding (resolving bidding-related work in specialized fields directed by Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of the field); approving investment policies for investment projects under his authority according to assigned fields.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha monitored and directed the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Hanoi National University, and Ho Chi Minh City National University.

He holds the following positions: Chairman of the National Planning Council; Chairman of the National Council on Water Resources; Chairman of the Vietnam Subcommittee in the Vietnam - Russia Intergovernmental Committee; Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee; Chairman of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee; Chairman of the Vietnam Mekong River Commission; Head of the Central Steering Committee on Housing Policy and Real Estate Market; Head of the National Steering Committee on Green Growth; Head of the Central Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention; Chairman of national councils and committees, heads of steering committees, and Chairman of the planning appraisal council in related fields.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh LongMonitor and direct the following areas of work: Institutional building, building a socialist rule-of-law state; handling international disputes and complaints; education, training and vocational training; labor, employment and social issues; hunger eradication and poverty reduction; culture; tourism; physical education and sports; health, family and children; approve investment policies for investment projects under its authority in assigned areas.

He monitors and directs the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long holds the following positions: Chairman of the National Council for Education and Human Resources Development; Chairman of the Central Council for National Defense and Security Education; Chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development and Competitiveness Improvement; Head of the State Steering Committee on Tourism; Head of the Central Inter-sectoral Steering Committee on Food Hygiene and Safety; Chairman of the National Committee for AIDS Prevention and Control, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control; Chairman of national councils and committees, heads of steering committees, and Chairman of the council for appraising planning in related fields.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phocassigned to monitor and direct the following areas of work: Finance, prices; currency, banking; capital market, stock market; financial investment sources; state reserves; state budget expenditure, use of state budget reserves, financial reserve fund, foreign exchange reserve fund and other state funds; issuance of government bonds; salary and social insurance policies.

At the same time, he is in charge of the fields of state-owned enterprise arrangement and innovation; general mechanisms and policies on public asset management (handling work related to public asset management in specialized fields directed by Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of the field); information and communication.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc concurrently holds the position of Minister of Finance until the competent authority completes this position.

He monitors and directs the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the State Bank of Vietnam, the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, the Vietnam Social Security, the National Financial Supervisory Committee, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, the Vietnam Development Bank, and the Deposit Insurance.

Concurrently performing the following duties: Chairman of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council; Chairman of the National Steering Committee on the ASEAN Single Window Mechanism, the National Single Window Mechanism and Trade Facilitation; Head of the Central Steering Committee on reforming wage policies, social insurance and incentives for meritorious people; Head of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development; Head of the Steering Committee for handling shortcomings and weaknesses of a number of slow-progressing and ineffective projects and enterprises in the Industry and Trade sector; Chairman of national councils and committees, heads of steering committees, Chairman of the planning appraisal council in related fields.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh SonMonitor and direct the following areas of work: Diplomacy and foreign relations; Official Development Assistance (ODA) and preferential loan mobilization; foreign non-governmental aid, foreign non-governmental organizations; international integration; monitor and direct negotiations and implementation of bilateral and multilateral international commitments; foreign direct investment (FDI), and Vietnam's investment abroad.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son is also in charge of Vietnam's relations with international and regional organizations; border affairs and East Sea and island issues; overseas Vietnamese affairs and issues of foreigners in Vietnam; and human rights issues.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son also monitors the following fields: Industry; trade - import and export; petroleum reserves and supply, logistics services; energy security, energy saving and efficient use; science and technology; and approval of investment policies for investment projects under his authority in assigned fields.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son concurrently holds the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs and supervises and directs: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

He holds the following positions: Chairman of the Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation Steering Committee; in charge of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee; Head of the State Steering Committee on Land Border Demarcation and Marker Planting; Head of the Human Rights Steering Committee; Head of the State Steering Committee for important national programs, works, and projects, key to the energy sector; Chairman of national councils and committees, heads of steering committees, and Chairman of the planning appraisal council in related fields.
