In the session at the end of October, in addition to important contents such as the draft Constitution, Land Law... the National Assembly will spend at least one day on personnel work.

This morning, discussing the proposed agenda for the 6th session, Head of the National Assembly Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thi Nuong said that personnel work will be related to the dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan as he has just been appointed as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. In addition, the National Assembly will also elect additional positions.

According to Ms. Nuong, personnel work therefore requires at least three sessions (one and a half days). However, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Huynh Ngoc Son proposed to shorten it to one day even though this session lasts 44 days - considered the longest of the entire term.
