President Poroshenko: |
"I am not afraid of a war with Russian soldiers. We are ready for the scenario of a total war. We do not want war, we want peace and we are fighting for European values. However, Russia does not respect any agreements. Now our army is in a better condition than five months ago and we have the support of the whole world. We want peace more than anything, but at the moment we are facing the worst scenario," Poroshenko said in an interview with the German daily Bild.
Speaking to reporters during a visit to Bratislava the same day, President Poroshenko said the conflict would "end within two weeks" if the peace agreement signed in Minsk in September was implemented./.
