From that reality, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has discussed and agreed with local departments to build a system to consume products of cooperative members. First of all, prioritize agricultural products, ensure clean products, safe products reach consumers.
Accordingly, the supermarket system will sell agricultural products that are produced safely according to the criteria of not using chemicals. Consumers only need to scan the barcode on each product to know all information from the field to transportation, consumption place...
Mr. Vo Kim Cu said that this is the first store, in the future there will be hundreds, thousands of stores like this across the country and will also be managed in this way, with good quality like this. Accordingly, during the process, if the alliance is established and the cooperatives produce fake, counterfeit, or poor quality goods, they must be eliminated from the game, and even handled according to the law. Because, the issue of food business alone is also a matter of ethics, not just the issue of doing business for money.
“We also have the idea that once we have established a stable and secure domestic consumption system, we will expand the market abroad because this is an advantage of a tropical agricultural country,” Mr. Cu shared.
