The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized Vietnam's role as a bridge for European businesses to access the large market in the Asia-Pacific region. He also affirmed that the Vietnamese Government is committed to continuing its efforts to build a transparent, business-friendly, highly open investment environment, creating the most favorable conditions for businesses, especially in the prospect of the EVFTA Agreement being implemented soon.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that with the EVFTA and other new generation FTAs about to take effect, the positive results of the process of renewing the growth, investment and business models, combined with the great potential of a modern Vietnam, there is no reason to prevent the promotion of the relationship between Vietnam and Belgium in particular and the European Union in general to develop more strongly and deeply in all areas, especially economic, trade and investment relations. We can become role models in the context of protectionism and populism that seem to be rising in some countries.
