According to RT on March 6, Ukraine's STRANA news agency, referring to the results of a survey conducted by the Ukrainian Center for Marketing and Social Research, said that former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny will win the presidential election.

According to polling data, Mr. Zaluzhny is likely to gain 41.4% in the first round of elections, incumbent President Volodymyr Zelensky - 23.7%, former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko - 6.4%, former speaker of the Democratic Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov - 5.6%. Meanwhile, in the second round of elections, former Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny will defeat President Zelensky with 67.5% and 32.5% respectively.

In addition, the survey shows that in the case of parliamentary elections, the “Zaluzhny Bloc” will have a better chance of winning, with a rate of 46.4%. It is followed by the “Zelensky Bloc” - 21.1%, the “Poroshenko Bloc” - 7.5% and the “Razumkov Bloc” - 6.8%.

At the same time, 59.7% of survey participants said that there is no need to hold elections until the conflict in Ukraine ends; 24.2% expressed the opposite opinion.

The survey was conducted from February 22 to March 1, 2024, with citizens over the age of 18. A total of 3,000 citizens living in Ukraine participated in the survey. The statistical error is 2.1%.

Previously, the survey results conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) in February 2024 showed that the level of trust of the Ukrainian people in President Volodymyr Zelensky had decreased by 13 percentage points, after the dismissal of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said in an interview with the Italian daily La Repubblica on March 4 that President Zelensky made a mistake in firing General Zaluzhny, citing the need for a "change of strategy."
