PC Nghe An: Ready plan to operate the power system safely and stably during the holidays of April 30 and May 1

To prepare for safe and stable power supply, to prevent overload during hot season and major holidays,Nghe An Electricity Companyheld an online video conference to review and inspect preparations for continuous, safe, and stable power supply during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Previously, nSince the beginning of the year, Nghe An Power Company (PC Nghe An) has increased the capacity of 08 transformers (MBA) to rotate 74 internal MBAs, invested in 28.7km of medium voltage lines, 26 transformer stations, 34.3km of 0.4kV lines. Built 2 22kV feeder circuits to prevent overload and connect the loop circuit to provide stable power to Vinh city area.

Based on the general power supply plan of the whole Company and the characteristics of the power grid of each unit, the affiliated Power Companies have developed and implemented plans to ensure stable, safe and reliable power supply, serving the requirements of local political, social, production and business activities and the living and entertainment needs of people during holidays in the whole province. Accordingly, from 0:00 to 24:00 on April 30 and May 1, 2022, no power outages will be carried out on the grid that will cause power outages to customers, except in cases of power outages to handle incidents.

Strictly implement the 24/24h power operation and repair regime. Materials, equipment, communication systems and means of transport have been fully prepared, ready to quickly handle any arising incidents. At the same time, the units are required to continue to strengthen inspection and consolidation of the power grid, review and handle defects on the power grid before the holidays.
