To ensure safe and stable electricity supply, improve reliability to serve the requirements of political, social, production, business activities and the living and entertainment needs of people in the whole province during the Lunar New Year 2025, Nghe An Power Company (PC Nghe An) has prepared plans to ensure electricity supply.
Accordingly, to ensure the operation management and stable power supply for customer loads in the province, PC Nghe An has strengthened the implementation of day and night inspections, phase current measurement, replacement of winding segments, conductors with scratches, damage, cos terminals showing signs of heat generation as well as internal rotation of transformers operating on the grid.

Power units under PC Nghe An have developed and deployed technical plans to ensure power supply for the Lunar New Year 2025. These include plans to ensure power supply, strengthen operational discipline, protect security, labor safety, fire and explosion prevention and control; coordinate with local authorities to protect security and order... From 00:00 on January 27, 2025 (ie the 28th day of Lunar New Year) to the end of January 31, 2025 (ie the 3rd day of Lunar New Year), no power outages will be carried out on the grid that will cause power outages for customers, except in cases of power outages to handle incidents.

At the same time, units are required to strengthen inspection, strengthen the power grid, review and handle defects on the power grid before welcoming the Lunar New Year".

In particular, note that units must ensure power supply to important locations, areas where political, cultural and artistic activities take place to celebrate the New Year... Coordinate with localities and mass media agencies to widely disseminate measures to use electricity economically, safely and effectively to electricity customers. Strengthen coordination with functional forces to prevent and strictly handle cases of shooting gold-coated confetti, flying kites and throwing objects onto power lines, violating the electrical safety corridor".

1.Do not gather in large crowds, do not erect poles near the safety corridors of power grid works and power stations; Do not shoot confetti with metal-coated strings, do not release sky lanterns, fly kites, do not play with flying disc toys in areas with or near power lines, electrical equipment and power stations.
2.Do not directly tap into or tamper with the electricity metering system to steal electricity for use in street lighting, entertainment venues, and festival venues.
3.Do not commit acts such as: causing damage, building houses, works, planting trees in violation of the power grid safety corridor, climbing on construction parts, power lines and transformer stations. Do not work in violation of the safety distance to power grid equipment lines, leading to safety risks for yourself and the community.
4.Do not use power lines and transformer stations for private purposes such as: hanging pennants on roads, hanging signs, billboards, building houses, tents, tying buffaloes and cows under electric poles, using electricity to catch fish, trap rats, trap thieves, dry clothes...
5.When detecting a risk of fire or explosion of electrical equipment on power lines, transformer stations, or violations of the safety corridor of high-voltage power grids causing unsafety, please notify the Electricity unit managing and operating in the area, or call the Customer Service Center 19006769 for timely handling to ensure safety for people and minimize property damage to the electricity industry and people.
