Petrolimex leads in debt for gasoline tax

Of the 13 key petroleum enterprises, there are currently 9 enterprises with overdue tax debts, 2 enterprises with no overdue tax debts, and 2 enterprises with no tax debts.



Petrolimex owes more than 82.63 billion VND in tax on temporarily imported and re-exported gasoline
and over 49.36 billion VND in tax on imported gasoline for business.

The above data was just announced by the General Department of Customs (Ministry of Finance) at a meeting on State management of temporary import and re-export business activities on the afternoon of September 5 in Hanoi.

Of which, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) is the leading unit in overdue tax debt with a total debt of over VND130 billion, accounting for nearly 44.2% of the total tax debt of 9 petroleum enterprises. Specifically, Petrolimex owes over VND82.63 billion in tax on temporarily imported and re-exported petroleum and over VND49.36 billion in tax on petroleum imported for business.

Vietnam Aviation Petroleum Company Limited is the second largest company in terms of petroleum tax debt. Specifically, 42.6 billion VND in temporary import and re-export petroleum tax and over 46.98 billion VND in petroleum tax for business purposes. The total tax debt of this company is 89.58 billion VND, accounting for 30%.

Next is the Military Petroleum Corporation with a debt of over 55 billion VND, and the Vietnam Oil Corporation with a debt of 24.4 billion VND.

The two enterprises currently have no tax debt: Vietnam National Shipping Lines and Hiep Phuoc Power Company Limited.

Two enterprises do not have overdue tax debts, Petrolimex Aviation Fuel Joint Stock Company and Ho Chi Minh City Petroleum One Member Co., Ltd., but have overdue debts of more than VND112.74 billion and VND25.68 billion, respectively.
