Pha Lom received the title of Cultural Village
(Baonghean.vn) - Pha Lom village, Tam Hop commune (Tuong Duong) has just held a ceremony to receive the title of District-level Cultural Village in 2016.
Pha Lom is a remote village, bordering Vietnam - Laos, home to the Mong ethnic group with 4 clans: Xong, Lau, Ly, Ho. The village has 112 households, 669 people. This is a purely agricultural village, people mainly focus on farming, so people's lives still face many difficulties.

In recent years, implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", the people in Pha Lom village have actively developed production, and their lives have been constantly improved. It is worth mentioning that along with the development, the people always know how to preserve and promote the fine customs of their homeland, while eliminating backward customs. Up to now, the village has 53 households meeting the criteria of cultural families, accounting for 53.4%.
