Accordingly, this gambling ring was organized at the house of Mr. Trinh Phi Thuong, residing in Block 3, Nam Dan town. At 12:00 on August 14, the district police arrested 94 people participating in gambling with a total amount of VND 184 million and USD 300. At the gambling den, the police also seized 102 mobile phones, 54 motorbikes, 4 cars, 22 fighting cocks and some gambling evidence such as recording boards, watches, etc.

According to the officers and soldiers participating in the investigation, the investigation into the cockfighting gambling ring had been established some time before. Mr. Trinh Phi Thuong, the owner of the cockfighting ring, had once been administratively sanctioned for organizing gambling in the form of cockfighting. Through investigation, Nam Dan Police discovered that this address still regularly organized cockfighting; especially recently, many subjects from other localities gathered. After arresting, detaining, and classifying, it was found that many subjects came from Vinh city, Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Nghi Loc, Tuong Duong... There were even subjects from Ha Tinh province.
