Successfully cracked the case coded 613H
(Baonghean.vn) -The Drug Crime Prevention Police Team - Vinh City Police has just successfully dismantled a drug case coded 613H, seizing 78g of heroin.
In early June 2013, from information provided by the people, in Vinh city, a male subject appeared who regularly drove a car from Thanh Chuong district carrying drugs to Vinh city to sell retail. After receiving the information, the leaders of Vinh city police quickly established a special project coded 613H, headed by Lieutenant Colonel Mai Chien Thang, Deputy Chief of Vinh city police, Major Tran Duc Than - Captain of the Drug Crime Investigation Team as Deputy Chief, along with dozens of experienced detectives and investigators assigned to solve the case.
Through the work of grasping the situation, using synchronous professional measures, and grasping all movements of the subject, when seeing that the opportunity was ripe, the Task Force decided to attack the case, arrest the subject and the evidence.

At around 9:00 p.m. on June 14, when the suspect appeared in front of the gate of Hong Son Primary School (Hong Son Ward - PV), the Drug Crime Prevention Police of Vinh City Police quickly raided and arrested Nguyen Duc Thang, born in 1956, residing in Phan Boi Chau block, Nam Dan town. The seized evidence included 78g of heroin, 2 mobile phones, 10 million VND in cash and a car with license plate 37S - 1945.
It is known that Nguyen Duc Thang has no criminal record but has been involved in drug trafficking and has been on the police's radar since 2001.
Currently, the case is being further investigated by the police.
