Pham Xuan Manh: I am eager to participate in the upcoming match against the Japanese national team.

Pham Xuan Manh believes that it is the matches at the continental playground and the times he wore the national team jersey that helped him.Xuan Manhand teammates of the same age learn, mature and accumulate more international competition experience, through facing different opponents and different tactics.

Regarding the team's preparations for the upcoming match against Japan, Xuan Manh said: "Coach Park Hang-seo has changed a lot of tactics in training sessions. The whole team is very focused on the upcoming match. I myself am also very hard-working and eager to participate in the match against strong opponents Japan."

Xuan Manh also added that since the matches with China and Oman, the team has determined to continue to make every effort and focus on getting points in the next matches. “That is a very difficult goal, but the whole team will try to achieve it. Our strength is the fighting spirit, the Vietnamese spirit. The audience being allowed to come to the stadium to cheer will also add strength, helping the whole team enter the match with more confidence,” Xuan Manh emphasized.

At today's training session, head coach Park Hang-seo directly took control and deployed the training plan to his students. He, along with assistant Kim Tae-min, doctor Choi Ju-young and 8 newly added U23 players who joined the team after completing their mission at the 2022 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers. They are goalkeeper Nguyen Van Toan, defenders Bui Hoang Viet Anh, Nguyen Thanh Binh, Nham Manh Dung, midfielders Le Van Xuan, Ly Cong Hoang Anh, Le Van Do and striker Tran Van Dat. In addition, coach Park Hang-seo also decided to create an opportunity for striker Ho Thanh Minh - the player who scored against U23 Myanmar to seal a 1-0 victory for U23 Vietnam - to practice with his seniors in the Vietnam National Team.

It can be seen that the new wind from the return of head coach Park Hang-seo and a series of young faces from U23 Vietnam being promoted has created a very exciting atmosphere for the training session of the Vietnam National Team. Adding U23 Vietnam players to the team is also one of the solutions to prepare the force for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020, which will take place in Singapore this December.
