Vietnam - Laos Cooperation Sub-Committee offers incense at Kim Lien Relic Site

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 4, a working delegation from the Vietnam - Laos Cooperation Sub-Committee held an incense offering ceremony at Kim Lien Relic Site.

The Vietnamese delegation included Mr. Le Minh Dien - Deputy Director of the Foreign Economic Department of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. Also accompanying were representatives of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission and the Government Office.

On the Lao side, the delegation was led by Comrade Kham Phoi Keo-kin-na-ly - Vice Chairman of the Lao PDR - Vietnam Cooperation Sub-Committee and its members.

Welcoming and accompanying the delegation to Nghe An province were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

At the Kim Lien relic site, the leaders of the two countries' cooperation sub-committees respectfully offered incense and fresh flower baskets to the soul of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of the Vietnamese people, an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement, who sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation and class liberation for the Vietnamese people, and who laid the foundation for the strong friendship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.
