Distributing rice to support students in disadvantaged areas in Nghe An
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 949 dated March 13, 2015 on allocating rice to support students in the province.
Accordingly:
Article 1.Allocate 1,166,250 kg of rice (One thousand, one hundred and sixty-six tons, two hundred and fifty kg of rice) to districts and towns in Nghe An province to support students at schools in areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions in the second semester of the 2014-2015 school year.
Article 2.
1.Propose that the State Reserve Department of Nghe Tinh region organize the transportation and delivery of rice directly to the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns listed in Article 1, ensuring quality, completeness and timeliness.
2.Assign the Department of Education and Training, People's Committees of relevant districts and towns:
- Coordinate with the State Reserve Department of Nghe Tinh region to organize the reception and distribution of rice to schools in the area to ensure timeliness, convenience and cost savings in transportation.
- Direct and inspect the timely reception and provision of rice to the correct students receiving support.
3.The Provincial People's Committee supports the cost of transporting rice from the district center to the commune center and villages in mountainous districts. The People's Committees of districts and towns proactively allocate local budgets to transport rice to students, then synthesize the funding needs and send them to the Department of Finance for consultation and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for support decision.

Article 3.This Decision comes into force from the date of signing.
