Phấn đấu đưa Anh Sơn phát triển toàn diện, trở thành huyện khá của tỉnh

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 21, Anh Son District Party Committee officially held the 20th Congress of Delegates, term 2015 - 2020.

Attending and directing the congress were Standing Committee members: Le Ba Hung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Huu Lam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; Le Minh Thong, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Tran Cong Duong, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee's Office; Ho Ngoc Sy, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong and Hoang Viet Duong; Leaders of departments, branches, district and city Party Committees and 235 official delegates from 62 grassroots party organizations in the entire Party Committee.

In the period of 2010 - 2015, despite many difficulties, the socio-economic situation of Anh Son district remained stable and had quite good development. The economic growth rate reached 6.77%, the average added value per capita in 2015 was estimated at 22,245 million VND (an increase of 11,372 million VND compared to the beginning of the term), investment capital mobilization increased by an average of 9% (in 2015, it was estimated at 763,097 million VND). The implementation of the national target program on new rural construction has initially achieved important results, making the rural appearance much better. Up to now, 3/20 communes have met 19/19 criteria, 2 communes have met 15 - 18 criteria, 15 communes have met 10 - 14 criteria.

Labor, employment, and social policy implementation have achieved important results. New jobs are created for 1,800-2,200 workers every year. In the past 5 years, jobs have been created for 10,525 workers, reducing the poverty rate from 21.54% in 2011 to 8.96% in 2015 (2.51% decrease each year). Science and technology activities have been effectively implemented, and more attention has been paid to resource and environmental management. In industry, production technology lines have been innovated at Song Lam sugar factory, Hung Son tea factory, Brick factory (Cam Son), etc.

Local defense and military work is maintained, ensuring the national defense posture associated with the people's security posture. Strengthening foreign relations with Xay Cham Pon district (Laos) contributes to ensuring border security.

Regarding Party building work, there have been many innovations and important results, enhancing the role and position of the Party organization in the political system. The district Party Committee has been strong for 4 years, the government has achieved excellent status. The people of Anh Son district were awarded the First Class Labor Medal. During the term, 891 comrades were admitted, of which 36 were ethnic minorities and 1 was a religious person. To date, 100% of villages and hamlets have Party cells.

The Congress focused on discussing and unifying the goals and solutions to implement the Party's general goals for the 2015-2020 term, focusing on building a strong political system, developing the economy and society, maintaining national defense and security, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Continuing to build infrastructure, prioritizing key economic projects and disadvantaged areas. The Party is united, the people are in agreement, bringing Anh Son to comprehensive development to become a well-off district of the province.

The Congress also conducted personnel work, approved the list of elected personnel and voted to elect the District Party Executive Committee for the 20th term, 2015 - 2020.

Phát biểu tại Đại hội, đồng chí Lê Minh Thông - Chủ nhiệm Ủy ban Kiểm tra Tỉnh ủy ghi nhận, đánh giá cao kết quả Đảng bộ huyện Anh Sơn đã đạt được trong nhiệm kỳ qua. Đồng thời nhấn mạnh trong thời gian tới, Anh Sơn cần bám sát các chương trình, đề án thực hiện Nghị quyết số 26-NQ/TW ngày 30/7/2013 của Bộ Chính trị về phát triển tỉnh Nghệ An đến năm 2020; Quyết định số 2355/QQĐ-TTg ngày 4/12/2013 của Thủ tướng Chính phủ về phát triển kinh tế - xã hội miền Tây Nghệ An đến năm 2020. Thực hiện tốt công tác quy hoạch chung, quy hoạch chi tiết trên các lĩnh vực kinh tế, giao thông, thị trấn, thị tứ, sử dụng đất. Tăng cường thu hút đầu tư, đào tạo nghề, giải quyết việc làm, xuất khẩu lao động, phát triển dịch vụ, du lịch, thương mại.

Đồng chí Lê Minh Thông cũng nhấn mạnh huyện Anh Sơn cần có giải pháp tích cực nâng cao chất lượng dạy và học theo tinh thần Nghị quyết TW8 (khóa XI) về đổi mới căn bản và toàn diện giáo dục, đào tạo. Đẩy mạnh công tác tuyên truyền, nâng cao nhận thức cho nhân dân cảnh giác với các hoạt động truyền đạo trái pháp luật, tăng cường củng cố xây dựng thế trận quốc phòng toàn dân, gắn với thế trận an ninh nhân dân. Tiếp tục củng cố khối đại đoàn kết trong toàn Đảng, toàn dân, phấn đấu đưa Anh Sơn phát triển nhanh, bền vững trở thành huyện khá của tỉnh vào năm 2020.
