After listening to the report on the results of the second quarter and the first 6 months of 2011, and the implementation of the tasks for the third quarter, the Conference focused on discussing a number of difficulties and problems in the process of disbursement and debt collection of policy credit programs. The disbursement progress of some credit programs is slower than the set plan, such as: loans to support poor households in housing according to Decision 167/QD-TTg, loans for labor export according to Decision 71/QD-TTg. Bad debts and overdue debts arise locally in mountainous districts such as Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong and in Youth Volunteer Teams...
Speaking at the conference, comrade Thai Van Hang emphasized: the task for the last 6 months of the year is to pay attention to credit quality, regularly collect due and overdue debts. In the third quarter, actively disburse and complete outstanding loan growth targets on all 9 programs, paying attention to the loan programs for poor households, clean water and environmental sanitation, students.
