After a period of infrastructure construction and trial run, tomorrow evening, October 2, Cao Thang night street, Vinh city will be officially opened and put into operation.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Tran Van Son - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee said: Because it is the first time to organize, Cao Thang night street cannot be 100% completed as planned, so we have to organize a trial run to understand the operating process, as well as promptly remedy the shortcomings so that the night street can operate best...". |

To ensure traffic safety, on the opening night, all cars and motorbikes will be parked on both sides of Tran Phu and Phan Dinh Phung streets, with traffic police guiding the way and security forces arranged completely free of charge.
After the opening night, the city will send forces to clear out spontaneous parking lots and force them to park in the Vinh market basement as planned to avoid congestion.
In addition, the city will strictly handle cases of deliberately evading regulations and driving motorbikes on Cao Thang Street during the time the night street is active.

For street vendors, pushcarts... not included in the list of 114 stalls not allowed to operate in the night market area, security forces will check and handle any violations. The sidewalks on both sides of Cao Thang Street will be reserved for art performances, no business or trading is allowed.
The city also installs and distributes trash bins at reasonable distances to limit the situation of people littering, causing urban aesthetic damage. The sanitation area will also be equipped with signs for easy recognition by visitors.

Regarding security and order issues, the order police and urban order team will coordinate with Hong Son ward forces and Vinh market management board to patrol regularly to ensure safety for tourists and people visiting the night market.
Currently, the final preparations have been completed, and we have planned to promptly remedy any shortcomings. After the opening ceremony, there will be a "Night Street Opening Week" with many attractive cultural and artistic activities. Cao Thang Night Street will be the highlight of a civilized and modern Vinh City, creating an impression for visitors from near and far every time they come to Vinh City.
