In addition, the hub bearing grease and seals will melt and fail very quickly. The ABS (anti-lock braking) sensor mounted on the brake assembly can also be damaged, and boiling brake fluid can also reduce the effectiveness of the brakes.

Forgetting to pull the handbrake when parking or stopping the car

There is a big mistake that many people make, and this is also the cause of many unfortunate accidents. That is forgetting to pull the handbrake when stopping or parking. The handbrake is designed to keep the car stationary when the car has stopped. Forgetting to pull the handbrake when parking can easily cause the car to roll, especially on steep terrain, which will be extremely dangerous. If you have put the handbrake in P without pulling the handbrake, the car's ability to hold the car depends entirely on the gearbox's ratchet gear, which will cause it to wear out quickly and gradually lose its effectiveness.
Therefore, drivers should form the habit of pulling the handbrake when the car has stopped to avoid causing unwanted consequences.

Pull the handbrake when the car has not stopped completely.

If the vehicle is still moving and has not stopped completely, many people even carelessly pull the handbrake while the vehicle is still moving at a fairly high speed, this will cause the braking force to act on the wheel, which can lead to a very dangerous skidding phenomenon.

- Regularly check and maintain the handbrake system to avoid brake jamming due to dry oil or rust.

- When parking overnight, you should use the handbrake. Even if the driver parks the car for many days, it will not affect the handbrake or main brake system.
