Fined 15 million VND, suspended for the next 5 matches for Dinh Van Ta (V.Ninh Binh)
For his brutal foul, causing serious injury to player Danny David (DT.Long An), midfielder Dinh Van Ta of XM The Vissai Ninh Binh Club was fined 15 million VND and suspended from the next 5 matches.
Specifically, according to Decision No. 55/QD-LĐBĐVN: Fine 15,000,000 VND (Fifteen million VND) and suspension of the next 05 (Five) matches for player Dinh Van Ta (No. 11) of XM The Vissai Ninh Binh Club for violating Clauses 1 and 3, Article 39 of the Disciplinary Regulations of the Vietnam Football Federation in the match between XM The Vissai Ninh Binh Club and Dong Tam Long An Club in the 5th round, February 15, 2014 at Ninh Binh Stadium.
Player Dinh Van Ta has the right to appeal to the Vietnam Football Federation's Complaints Resolution Board according to the provisions of the Vietnam Football Federation's Disciplinary Regulations.
The VFF Disciplinary Board also issued Decision No. 53/QD-LDBĐVN:
Fine Hai Phong Club 3,000,000 VND (Three million VND) for violating Clause 10, Article 68 of the Disciplinary Regulations of the Vietnam Football Federation in the match between Hanoi T&T Club and Hai Phong Club in the 5th round, February 15, 2014.

Article 39. Acts of physical abuse 1. Anyone who intends or intentionally violates another person's body but does not cause damage to that person's body or health shall be suspended from competition or duty for at least 02 matches. If causing damage to that person's health or body, he/she shall be suspended from competition or duty for at least 04 matches or at least 01 month. 2. In case of serious physical abuse, the offender may be banned from participating in football activities for a limited period or permanently; 3. A minimum fine of VND 10,000,000 shall be imposed for violations specified in Clause 1 and Clause 2 of this Article.
