Fined 9 vehicles using electric shock to catch aquatic products
Since the beginning of the year, the Department of Aquatic Resources Protection has coordinated with border guards to organize two patrols at sea. Inspecting 313 vehicles, 127 vehicles were found to be violating regulations on aquatic resources protection. The team has warned 117 vehicles, administratively sanctioned 9 vehicles using electric shock to exploit aquatic resources, with a fine of over 36 million VND; and transferred to the investigation agency to handle a vehicle transporting 8kg of explosives, 80 detonators, and 6.5m of slow-burning wire.
