Tuoi Tre Newspaper fined for publishing some inaccurate information

On December 16, Deputy Director of the Press Department (Ministry of Information and Communications) Luu Dinh Phuc signed Decision No. 171/QD-XPVPHC to fine Tuoi Tre newspaper at 60A Hoang Van Thu, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

This newspaper violated the law by publishing some inaccurate information in the article “The Story of Hanoi’s Delicious Dishes” published on October 5. The fine was 4 million VND.

This act violates the provisions of Point a, Clause 2, Article 8, Decree No. 159/2013/ND-CP dated November 12, 2013 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations in press and publishing activities.

Tuoi Tre Newspaper has the right to complain or initiate administrative lawsuit against this Decision according to the provisions of law./
