Instructions on how to wash hands with soap properly to prevent hand, foot and mouth disease.
Hand, foot and mouth disease is transmitted through the digestive tract and is common in children under 5 years old. The typical symptoms of the disease are fever, sore throat, lesions of the oral mucosa and skin, mainly in the form of blisters commonly found on the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, scalp and buttocks. Most cases are mild, but in many cases it can become severe and cause dangerous complications.
Currently, there is no vaccine to prevent the disease, so to proactively prevent it, the health sector calls on all people to implement a number of measures such as: personal hygiene; food hygiene; cleaning children's toys and living areas; using hygienic toilets. At the same time, it is necessary to monitor health and isolate and promptly treat when there are signs of illness in children.
At the launching ceremony, medical staff instructed students on how to properly wash their hands with soap to help prevent hand, foot and mouth disease in the area. After the launching ceremony, delegates participated in a parade on the city's main streets to spread the message to all citizens.
