Launching the "Smart Traffic" contest on the Internet

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 14 at Dang Thai Mai Secondary School, the National Traffic Safety Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, VTC Multimedia Corporation, and Traffic Construction Corporation 4 launched the "Smart Traffic" contest on the Internet for primary and secondary school students in the 2014-2015 school year.

The Smart Traffic Contest on the Internet for the 2014-2015 school year starts from October 2014 to June 2015. To participate in the contest, each student will answer 30 questions about knowledge, skills and attitudes when participating in traffic. Contestants must score 250 points, equivalent to answering 25 questions of a round, to be eligible for the next round. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the highlight of the Smart Traffic Contest is that the exam questions include vivid, realistic visual images of traffic violations and the consequences of traffic accidents, thereby orienting students' awareness of traffic culture compliance.

This is an activity to educate students on knowledge, skills and attitudes when participating in traffic, creating a habit of voluntarily obeying the law for students when participating in traffic; at the same time, it is also a way to innovate the method of teaching and learning traffic safety laws in schools. Through the contest, the organizers hope that each student will know how to participate in traffic safely and become an active propagandist to their family, relatives and friends to participate in traffic more safely.
